My name is Rob ONeill. I was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. In fact, the "Rocky" Movies were filmed in my neighborhood on the streets I grew up on. Today, and for the past 38 years I've lived in San Jose, CA. Photography has been my passion since the Apple Quick Take 100 made it's debut as the first affordable digital camera in 1995 at just under $1,000.00. Soon after, I invested in the Quick Take 150 and from there, every year, or when the opportunity presented, I would upgrade to higher end cameras. Today I use professional level Canon Digital SLR cameras, 7D2 and 5D3, as well as a collection of Canon "L" lenses and they have served me well.
I am a USN Veteran, (1971-1975), and a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. I was serving in Vietnam when the war ended in 1973. I have a degree in Graphic Design and Desktop Publishing, and am also a licensed General Building Contractor.
I shoot Semi-Pro, Sports, Wildlife, and Portrait Photography. One of my specialties is BMX bike racing, you can view some of my work on RJ Bean's, "mobmotobmx.com" BMX Team web site. My website here is new and I'm slowly adding photos. I am honored to know that my photos are on display in doctor's offices, professional offices and private homes. They can be ordered from this site if you would like to have copies of them. All the pictures are available at cost, (printing and shipping only). So you can get some great photos very inexpensively. Later, my wildlife photos will go back to their regular price. I hope you enjoy your visit and if you like what you find here, please tell your friends.
